College Station Municipal Court has jurisdiction over fine-only offenses that have been committed within the College Station city limits. These offenses include Class C Misdemeanors, traffic offenses, and city ordinances. If your ticket does not appear online, call the court during normal business hours at 979-764-3683.
Citations
After receiving a citation, you must respond to the court within 10 working days from the issue date of the violation. Allow three business days for the case to be filed with the court. Appearance can be by counsel, mail, or in-person by the person to whom
the citation was issued. A 24-hour drop box is located in front of the court building, left of the entrance (do not put cash in the dropbox).
Warrant Information
For cases in which a warrant is outstanding, you must pay the full amount of the warrant; the warrant will remain active until the next working day when it will be lifted.
Court Dates
Court dates can be scheduled at the Municipal Court in person or by mail within 10 days of the issue date of the citation. A mailed request must include the following: full name and signature, mailing address, phone number, and copy of the citation. (Court
dates are not scheduled by phone.) To reschedule a missed court date, the judge may require that you post a cash bond.

There are three plea options when charged with an offense:

By paying your ticket online, you are entering a plea of no contest (Nolo Contendre), waiving your rights to a jury trial, and your case will be closed. Your violation will be recorded as a conviction and may be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

YOU MAY NOT PAY FOR YOUR CITATION ONLINE THEN REQUEST DEFERRED DISPOSITION OR DEFENSIVE DRIVING
FROM THE COURT.
IF YOU ARE MAKING A PAYMENT ON A PAYMENT EXTENSION YOU MUST SELECT PLAN PAYMENT AND YOU MUST PAY THE MINIMUM AMOUNT DUE FOR YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENT.
IF YOU ARE A JUVENILE (UNDER AGE 17) YOU MUST APPEAR WITH A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN BEFORE THE
JUDGE IN OPEN COURT, THEREFORE YOU MAY NOT PAY YOUR TICKET ONLINE.
IF YOU ARE A MINOR (AGE 17) AND RECEIVED A TOBACCO CHARGE YOU MUST APPEAR IN OPEN COURT, THEREFORE YOU MAY NOT PAY YOUR TICKET ONLINE.
IF YOU ARE A MINOR (AGE 17 TO 20) AND RECEIVED AN ALCOHOL CHARGE YOU MUST APPEAR IN OPEN COURT,
THEREFORE YOU MAY NOT PAY YOUR TICKET ONLINE.
ONLINE PAYMENTS MADE AFTER MIDNIGHT WILL SHOW AS THE NEXT DAYS WORK, AND ON WEEKENDS WILL BE
PROCESSED THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. THEREFORE IF YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING WARRANT IT WILL REMAIN ACTIVE UNTIL THE PAYMENT IS POSTED.
